Disallowed Content

WHY SOME CONTENT IS DISALLOWED

With one of our core values being accepting, almost all content is allowed, except where the content is:
  • Illegal in the UK
  • Harmful to you, others, or the wider forum
  • Breaks a more specific rule, which will have its own justification for why it is disallowed
We have other Forum Information threads that explain how moderation works, how to appeal moderation, and much more.

Before you continue:
  • If you disagree with something being disallowed, please post in the Forum Feedback board.
  • If you would like to clarify something, please post in the Forum Help board.
  • If you would like to post without a risk of account discipline, please post in the Forum Sandbox board.
Below is a list of content that is disallowed across the forum, along with justification and examples where suitable.

ADULT CONTENT

Definition: Discussing or sharing adult/sexual content which could arouse someone, even if that isn't the intention.

Reason: To ensure the forum doesn't get caught up in organisation filters, ranked poorly in search engines, or the Not About Online Safety Act.

Note: An adult section in a hidden members only section may be considered in the future if there is enough interest.

Examples of allowed content:
  • Reviewing an adult themed movie
  • Discussing a sexual health problem
  • Asking for support after a sexual assault
Examples of disallowed content:
  • Asking for links to pornographic sites
  • Posting tips on how to have better sex
  • A poll on the ideal size for your partners penis
